Season One review
Season one is like a pile of fairy tales books. The first episode is an introductory episode, depicting the reality TV concept of the show where assorted stock characters of cartoon and comic world come to live togather in a house as in ‘The Real World’. But in the second episode it changes the track. In episode ‘Clara’s Little Dirty Secret’, Clara tells her fairy tale about the curse of her stepmother, which resembles the story of ‘Snow White’ but in a dirty way. In this episode, it is learnt that her genitals are actually a monster with many tentacles due to the curse, but that monster gets agitated only after hearing some loud noise, otherwise it’s a nice creature. Clara calls it Octopussoir.

In the third episode, Xandir is suspected to be a gay by other house inmates, and they finally make him accept this. This news creates frictions in his relationship with his girl friend. Now to soothe the depressed Xandir, Clara raises a helping hand by giving him a magic lamp to wish to become normal. But the bad luck shines over Xandir, as the genie himself is a homosexual and gets attracted towards Xandir. The genie is kidnapped by his arch nemesis, to bring back his self respect. Xandir now accepts this reality that he’s a gay.
In next episode, a food competition is held between two teams with the condition that losing team won’t get any food for a week. Finally Foxxy’s team wins and Toot in the winning glory, eats excessively and gains weight. Now, Xandir helps her in getting back to her actual size in such a way, that she vomits all over in the house. Other members suggest her to just check her eating disorders, instead of over exercising.
In the same episode, Captain Hero is shown to be dying of starvation for being the member of losing team, so he makes a deal with Foxxy and agrees that she can humiliate him in exchange of food. Foxxy takes advantage of this situation and sexually exploits him.
In ‘The Other Cousin’, Clara’s mentally retarded cousin visits the house and ends up having fling with Captain Hero, who falls in love with her. The last episode brings an earthquake in the house, when the housemates learn that there will be no prize for their stay in home contrary to the declaration made prior to sending them inside. To cool them down, Producer sends Billionaire Bucky Bucks to engage all of them in stupid games to prevent protest by them.
I would call the season a steadily developing story and the sequence of episodes is such that if you watch these together, it will be like watching an animated movie.
