He asked the question in response to the recently proposed gay-marriage of puppets Ernie and Bert from Sesame Street. He went on to say that gays should shut up and get married.

He didn’t even spare the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender) activists and said that they should start calling themselves YUCK.

But later, he apologized to a popular celebrity news website for his previous blunders and offensive comments. He also added with the apology, that he is a comedian not a politician.

Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) didn’t quite accept his apology, because he has a history of making hurtful remarks on LGBT.

Herndon Graddick, senior director (programs) of GLAAD warned that advertisers and networks should really see what they are supporting, when they think of hiring someone like Adam Carolla. He further added that the gross intolerance he is passing off as comedy, should not be on television at all.

In 2009, he offended the LGBT community on his radio show, by saying that gay parents are not as good as straight parents.

Adam, a mere apology will not work man. You better mend your ways!
